Tuesday Tour Day – Aquinas College

Are you considering attending a four-year, Catholic, co-educational, liberal arts college? Consider Aquinas College, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The college offers over 60 majors, and has international programs and internships.Students may choose from more than 60 clubs and organizations.  The annual “Wake Up People” party, polar plunge and open mic night are just a few of the student life traditions on campus.

The Sturrus Sports and Fitness Center completed phase 1 of a projected $12 million renovation and expansion in October 2010. The Grace Hauenstein Library, completed in August 2006, provides a great venue for students to research and study. The newly completed Performing Arts Center provides entertainment for students and the broader community. The college offers traditional residence halls, service learning homes, honors housing, and on-campus apartments.

Aquinas outstanding athletic program has won eleven of the past fourteen conference all sports trophies. Aquinas fields teams in 18 intercollegiate sports.

Aquinas Spectrum Scholarship Program provides awards for academics, leadership, service and athletics. More than 90% of freshmen receive financial assistance. A candidate for admission to Aquinas is considered on the basis of academic preparation, scholarship and character. Admission depends on a number of factors, including high school academic record, and the scores achieved on the ACT or SAT test.

Scholarships are available to students who not only excel academically, but who are leaders, volunteers, activists and athletes.
