Beat the waiting game

Don't be like Charlie Brown while waiting to hear from colleges.

A recent article in The New York Times offered a March checklist for high school seniors. There are some interesting points such as “have dinner with your parents,” and “celebrate every acceptance, forget about the rejections.”

By April 1, most college decisions will be reported. Rather than texting your mail carrier daily for word on acceptance letters coming your way, take this time to enjoy what makes you happy. (If you can remember what you used to enjoy before college planning!) Find peace within yourself, knowing that you did your best!
