Retired academic advisor gives up some secrets for success

One of NextStepU’s contributors and a retired dean of academic advising shares his tips on being ready for college with USA Today!

Robert Neuman who worked for 25 years as an associate dean of academic advising at Marquette University in Milwaukee recently wrote A College Dean’s 12 Secrets for Success — what high school students don’t know (Dog Ear Publishing, $21.99) to help middle school and high school students avoid common problems during their transition.
